I made this recipe for my Bible Study class at church one Sunday. They transported surprisingly well, wrapped in wax paper, in a cooler. I used Cocoa Krispies, Froot Loops and Honey Nut Cherrios for my first foray into the breakfast popsicle world.

The thing I would change about this recipe is the yogurt. I just don't like the smell of Greek yogurt. I know it's healthier and has more protein, but it just smells nasty! I would try this again with regular yogurt, maybe plain or vanilla. I wonder how it would work with just milk and banana? Maybe the milk would defrost too quickly. I'd be willing to give them another go, not sure about Doug.
- 1 medium to large banana
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk (flavored or plain)
- 1/2 cup dry cereal
In the bowl of your mixer, fitted with the paddle attachment, mix the banana on medium until mashed and smoother (about 1 minute). Slowly add yogurt and milk. Continue mixing until blended. Add cereal and stir by hand to avoid crushing. Pour mixture into popsicle molds. Freeze 8 hours until solid.
Serves 8, depends on size of mold
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 8 hours
