Air Fryer Donuts

I made these for our annual Thanksgiving breakfast last year. I wanted something simple, filling, and a little sweet. Super easy to make, next-to-no prep, and done really quickly.

  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuits
  • ~ 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ~ 1 tsp milk
  • vanilla
Open your tube of biscuits and lay them out on a smooth surface like a cutting board. Using a small circle cookie cutter or a cake decorating tip, cut the center out of each biscuit. Set aside your donut holes.

In a small bowl, mix about a cup of powdered sugar with a teaspoon of milk. Stir until smooth. Add a dash of vanilla. Add more milk to get desired consistency of glaze for your donuts. Set aside.

Air fry the donuts and holes in batches at 350 degrees for 4-5 minutes. Remove carefully and coat with glaze.

NOTES: My glaze was very liquid-y; thinner than the glaze I would use on a cinnamon roll or the icing on a cake. Because of this, it makes the glazing of the donut a bit messy. We took the donuts out of the fryer with tongs and placed them on a cooling rack with wax paper under it. We then used a basting brush to brush the glaze on the donuts. Once they cooled we flipped them over to put some glaze on the other side.
