Beef Stroganoff

I think I've mentioned before that we are long-term borrowing an Instant Pot from a friend. So this was one of the recipes that was recommended by our friend, Jenny, to try.

It was a fairly simple recipe to pull off, but in my family's opinion, nothing special. It was creamy, which the boys are now leery of, and just a bit bland. I wonder if upping the Worcestershire sauce would add some pep?
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 28 oz beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 12-oz package wide egg noodles (twisted/curly)
  • 1/4 lb cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
Set the pot on saute and heat. Add olive oil, ground beef, and onion. Saute until brown. Add soup and broth; stir to mix. Add Worcestershire sauce and then add noodles. Lock the lid in place and press manual for 5 minutes

Quick release when timer beeps. Add cream cheese and sour cream; stir until mixed and enjoy.
