Crab & Cheese Filled Crescent Rolls

I love crab. I'm learning to cook more things with crab lately. Sometimes the fake stuff, sometimes the real stuff. I still like it best when someone else does the cooking.....but, you know. I've got to learn too.

This was a good recipe. A little messy to make, but tasted delicious. Leftovers were easily reheated in the toaster oven.
  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 6 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup chopped, cooked crab meat (imitation is fine)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Roll out crescent dough into a rectangle and pinch seams together. Cut into 24 squares.

In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, crab meat, green onions, cayenne pepper and salt. Distribute crab mixture evenly among crescent roll squares.

Overlap opposite corners of the squares and pinch closed. Place squares on cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
