Boozy Jolly Rancher Slushies

This is going to sound so wrong, but here goes: Tyler loved these! Before you go calling CPS on me, he loved the non-alcoholic version we made him. Both the boozy and non-boozy version of this drink are just as fun.
  • 200 mL vodka (a little more than 3/4 cup)
  • 10 of your favorite flavor Jolly Rancher, unwrapped
  • ice
  • Sprite
Place Jolly Ranchers and vodka in a sealable jar. Let sit for 24 hours, shaking occasionally to help the Jolly Ranchers dissolve.

Add 2 oz Jolly Rancher vodka, 1 cup ice and 2/3 cup Sprite to a blender. Blend until smooth and enjoy!

To make the non-boozy version, just swap the vodka for water.

NOTES: The only weird thing about this was, as you can see in the picture, the ice part floats to the top very quickly after blending and your flavor stays at the bottom. It still tastes great, but I don't know if there's any way to get the ingredients in balance so they look better.

You can experiment with the balance of Sprite and alcohol that you prefer. You can add more Jolly Ranchers to the same amount of vodka to have a stronger flavor, if you want.

Be sure to shake the vodka while it is infusing. I didn't shake mine enough and had little Jolly Ranchers stuck to the bottom of my bottle when I went to make the slushie and it was more than 24 hours later.
