Seasoned Tilapia Fillets

I am not a fish fan. Never have been, don't think I ever will be. Some recipes can make you forget you are eating fish, but I think it's the texture for me. I just don't like the texture.

Even so, this wasn't a horrible recipe, from my non-fish loving standpoint. I might make it again for just the guys, but I will be making something else for me. It was a bit on the spicy side, which both Tyler and I noticed. It is really simple to scrape off excess spices though, and continue eating.
  • 2 tilapia fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp steak seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • dash of garlic powder
Place fillets in a greased 11 by 7 inch baking dish. Drizzle with butter. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the fillets.

Cover and bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 5-8 minutes longer, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Serves: 2

Total Time: 30 minutes
