As I've found, chicken can be hit or miss. Sometimes those marinades and sauces are just *chef's kiss* and other times it's like the chicken had some ultra strong membrane around it and nothing soaked in before cooking. This one was pretty good if you don't overcook your chicken. Second time around (photo evidence) we did overcook it.
- 5 skinless chicken breast halves
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4-1/3 cup lime juice, according to your taste
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic cloves minced, or 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
Place chicken in slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Pour over the chicken. Cover and cook on high 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is tender but not dry.
Serves 5
