Strawberry Sangria

This was a great recipe! It was simple to make, no weird ingredients, and an awesome choice for a summer adult beverage. You can definitely change the proportions as needed for your group. I knew it would be just me and Doug drinking and didn't need a huge pitcher so I halved the original recipe (that's what I included below).

As I was re-reading this recipe, I realize I forgot to use the lemon I purchased for it. I may slice some up for the leftover drink I have, but without it, it was still delicious.

  • 3 oz frozen pink lemonade
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 bottle (750 mL) sauvignon blanc wine (I used Fetzer)
  • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 pint rinsed fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 lemon washed and sliced
  • 1/2 liter club soda
Whisk together frozen lemonade concentrate and simple syrup. Gently stir wine into lemonade mixture. Carefully add fruit to liquid and allow to sit for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally to mix the flavors.

Just before serving add club soda and ice; stir gently.

Serves 6

Total Time: 15 minutes
