Poolside Slush

We hadn't attempted a new drink in a while so I looked for great summer drinks online. This one was ok. I like pineapple juice, but I rarely make things with actual pineapple in them. The texture is a little weird, isn't it? Anyway, we made this recipe and it was pretty good, then I decided to make an adult spinoff of it. I'll include the recipes for both here.
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 package blue Kool-Aid or blue Hawaiian Punch
  • 1 cup sugar for Kool-Aid
  • 1 cup ice
Make punch according to package directions. Add 1 cup punch, frozen pineapple, and ice to a blender. Pulse until slush is formed. Serve immediately.

Serves 1

Total Time: 10 minutes

The adult variation of this was totally me throwing things we already had in the house into a blender, using similar measurements to the above recipe. Here's my best guess on what I used. It turned out pretty good, in my opinion.
  • 1 cup frozen raspberry
  • 1 cup prepared blue punch
  • 1 cup ice
  • 2 oz raspberry vodka
Blend all ingredients and serve immediately.

Serves 1
