- 1 lb ground beef, browned
- chili seasoning mix
- 3 Tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- 1/2 can kidney beans (optional)
- tobasco sauce (optional)
- 1 cup broken Doritos Nacho Cheese chips or tortilla chips
- 1 small tomato
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 1 small bottle Catalina dressing
NOTES: What's so great about this recipe is that you can mix and match and make it how you like it. I didn't use tobasco sauce this time and picked around the beans that Doug insisted we have in it. We used Doritos this time, but I know we've used tortilla chips as well. Post your tweaks in the comments section and I'll give them a try next time.
