Waffle Fry Nachos

This is a simple enough recipe. If you're in the mood for nachos, but want something a little different, give this a try. No super difficult ingredients to find either (see note about fries below). Of course, you can customize it to your tastes, but this mix was pretty good.
  • 1 package (22 oz) frozen waffle fries
  • 10 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 can (6 oz) sliced black olives, drained
  • 2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • 2/3 cup salsa
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
  • sour cream
Bake fries according to package directions. Transfer to a 10-inch ovenproof skillet. Top with bacon, onions, olives, tomatoes, salsa and cheeses. Return to the oven for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted. Serve with sour cream.

NOTES: I couldn't, for the life of me, find normal waffle fries at WinCo. They were all sweet potato, or seasoned something weird. So I got regular seasoned fries. They worked fine, they just don't hold the toppings as well on the way to your mouth.
