Epic fail. That's what this recipe was. Lots of mess for an epic fail. The only flavor is the marinara for dipping, and all of the cheese squished out of the wrapper when we stuck it in the fryer. Maybe someone can give me some tips on that? Did we not fold the burrito well enough? Or we could add more seasoning?
- 12 pieces string cheese
- 12 large egg roll wrappers
- oil for deep-fat frying
- marinara or spaghetti sauce for dipping
In an electric skillet heat 1/2 inch of oil to 375 degrees. Fry sticks, a few at a time, for 30-60 seconds on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with marinara sauce.
